After four election campaigns in which the voters received the same Bibi with the same casting around him, this time there will be a fresh team • The emergence of Yariv Levin, Dodi Amsalem, Amir Ohana and Shlomo Karai, in the first places, sharpens the fact that the most significant issue in the upcoming elections will be the reforms in the judicial system

In a cautious and initial assessment, it seems that the results from the Likud primaries give the party a chance to decide the elections and break the political tie, for the first time in three years.

First, the people of Israel believe in democracy.

The Likud once again demonstrated its democratic strength yesterday, in very large numbers and precisely in the midst of the summer vacation.

Second, the Likud was renewed.

After four election campaigns in which the voters received the same Bibi with the same casting around him, this time there will be a fresh team.

There were voters who around her left the Likud, or did not leave the house, also because of the stagnation.

The agitation that the party showed yesterday and the new top that it formed, may bring them home.

Thirdly, the screwing of Yariv Levin, Dodi Amsalem, Amir Ohana and Shlomo Karai, in the first places, sharpens that the most significant issue in the upcoming elections will be the reforms in the judicial system.

For the four, this has been a banner issue since the dawn of their joining the political system - in Levin's case three decades ago.

In the previous rounds, Netanyahu and the Likud emphasized his personal leadership and foreign and security issues, such as sovereignty.

It was not enough, and above all it did not convince those who were tired or had reservations about Netanyahu.

This time, the Likud bloc is also the closest to reaching the threshold of 61 seats.

If the agenda of the recession of judicial activism, restoring the dignity of the Knesset and reforming the general prosecution is highlighted, it has a chance to guarantee Netanyahu the required majority to form the government.

The reason for this is that there are tens of thousands of silenced people in Israel, who have felt the unjust injury of the justice system.

It is not meant for those who sinned and deserved to be punished, but for honest people who were not even convicted in court, but paid heavy prices for the distortions in our legal system.

Citizens who were arrested in vain, public figures and businessmen, senior officials and officials, who sat at home for years prevented from working and paying huge fees to lawyers, because they were waiting for a legal decision.

And also, many normative people who signed plea deals, just to close the legal process that was opened against them for trivial things.

They and the circles around them do not dare to speak in the media about their difficult feelings.

But below the surface the heavy precipitation is there.

Now for the first time they will have a chance to vent politically.

There is no doubt that Shalapid and his camp, echoing the best of their commentators, will present Netanyahu and the above-mentioned ideas as an "attempt to attack the judicial system with D9" and claim that their goal is to "save Netanyahu's skin". Those who follow the trial know that Netanyahu no longer needs these reforms , because his lawyers are doing a good enough job. On the contrary, what is revealed in his trial only strengthens the claim that the reforms are necessary.

After the public tasted the performance of the center-left government, the Likud this time comes to the election line strengthened - at least that's what the polls show.

With the renewal of the list, the democratic strength it demonstrated yesterday, and placing an ideological agenda instead of personality cult at the top of the agenda, maybe Likud has a chance to regain power.

And maybe Israel will finally get out of the political crisis.
