Tollwood expresses massive criticism - "Completely incomprehensible"

It should be the big number: The Rammstein concert in Munich on New Year's Eve.

The city council has already given its "ok", now the Tollwood is sharply critical.

Munich – A Rammstein concert in front of almost 150,000 people on the Theresienwiese on New Year's Eve.

That should be in Munich this year.

The topic has been making waves for a long time, and on Wednesday, August 10th, the city council gave its "OK".

The only thing missing is permission from the district administration department.

Now the organizer only has to present a safety concept that is convincing.

But now there is harsh criticism: Tollwood has expressed concerns in a statement on Twitter.

"The Tollwood New Year's Eve gala and the New Year's Eve party parallel to the New Year's Eve concert with Rammstein are definitely not possible," it says.

“Advance tickets are already available for the events of the Tollwood Winter Festival in the Grand Chapiteu with Machine de Cirque.

The contracts with artists are closed.

That poses massive problems for Tollwood.” Tollwood then clarifies: “For us it is completely incomprehensible how the city council’s decision to allow a concert by the band Rammstein on New Year’s Eve could be made without having spoken to us in advance to have."

The Munich police had already expressed concerns about the security of such an event.

No final decision has yet been made about the Rammstein concert in Munich.

So far, the only thing that is certain is that the possible mega event is already causing explosives.
