Ritter Sport chocolate is available in every imaginable flavor, color and size.
Now the packaging is to be given an even more personal touch: customers can now decorate it with their own pictures.

With the social media campaign, with which
MyRitterSport
is to be made known, the company from Waldenbuch (Böblingen district) wants to appeal in particular to people with a design weakness.

When designing
MyRitterSport
, customers can choose between two options.
On the one hand, there is the option of personalizing a 100-gram bar in the varieties crunchy biscuit, marzipan, nougat, alpine milk or strawberry yoghurt for 5.99 euros.
From 36 bars there is a small volume discount.
Alternatively, the popular “minis” in Alpine milk, yoghurt, crispy flakes, strawberry yoghurt and nut slivers can be decorated with photos and slogans.
The bag with 50 pieces is available for 74.50 euros - that is: 1.49 euros per 16-gram piece.
There are also shipping costs.
According to Ritter Sport, the delivery time is one to two weeks.
In the summer months from May to September, the goods are shipped with cool packs.
Ritter Sport: Business in Russia continues to make customers angry
During the Ukraine war, Ritter Sport was recently badly criticized.
The reason: the chocolate manufacturer announced that it would continue to supply its bars to warmongering Russia.
Fans could not understand the decision and called for a boycott of Ritter Sport.
A brand expert therefore warned of a huge damage to the image of Ritter Sport.
The manufacturer from Baden-Württemberg may be trying to do this through
MyRitterSport
to bring the brand back to consumers' minds more positively.
However, the online community reacted skeptically to the announcement of the personalized chocolate on Facebook.
"Are they also available with a red star, a fur hat and a Kalashnikov?" commented a Facebook user, alluding to the Russia deal.
Another user wrote: "Why don't you personalize your chocolate for export to Russia with pictures of the Butcha atrocities."
In the comments of
MyRitterSport
there is also criticism of the unit prices, which are only discounted for very large purchase quantities.
"Is there gold in it instead of chocolate?" A disappointed chocolate fan ranted.
"Even the fact that the price doubles when the quantity is doubled is already cheeky." Ritter Sport then explained that the quantity discounts for the 100 gram bars were only available from 36 pieces.
The reason: "These are high-quality and special products, the production of which is very complex." As Ritter Sport emphasizes, the individualisation of each individual bar leads to "considerable additional work in the process flow" and cannot be compared with standard production.
"Furthermore, you're not just buying a Ritter Sport bar here, but a special, maybe even unique bar, entirely according to your ideas," argues the company.
