Cham Wings Airlines signed today a sponsorship agreement with the Tikat Musical Band, in the presence of the band members, the company's board of directors, and a number of local media outlets, at the company's headquarters in Damascus.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Director of Business Development and Public Relations at Cham Wings Airlines, Osama Al-Satea, explained that the Takat band, which constitutes an exceptional and beautiful artistic condition, was able as a model of Syrian talent in a record period to translate the rich Syrian folklore and export it abroad.
He pointed out that this young band was able to convey an influential national message about Syria's heritage through the language of music, explaining that Wings of the Levant, as a national carrier, is proud of this partnership with such a promising band that works to document the Syrian heritage and preserve it in memory.
Al-Satea indicated that based on this agreement, the band will be transferred to the destinations and stations reached by the Wings of the Levant, and this is a community responsibility that supports young talents so that they can achieve national partnership on the ground in a correct manner.
In his turn, the general supervisor and music distributor of the band, Hani Tayfour, indicated that the band, since its inception three years ago, has been carrying out its work on its own and under the auspices of government institutions away from investment and profit, stressing its constant endeavor to export Syrian heritage artworks by providing qualitative works, pointing out that cooperation with Cham Wings will be fruitful as it has adopted And it embraced the band's project, and this will be embodied in the next steps.
Speaking about the wide spread in the Arab world achieved by the band between Tayfour, the selectivity in the songs presented by Takat contributed to creating a beautiful impression in the minds of the audience, and this was recently touched by participating in the Jerash Festival in Jordan and the Castle and Wadi Festival.
As for Osama Al-Maghout, the director of the Takat band, he explained that signing the agreement contract with Al-Sham Wings is nothing but a social duty to develop the band away from the profit and investment aspect, and it is a celebration of the most important elements of the band’s success.
