At the moment, the A92 project, a six-lane expansion between the Munich-Feldmoching triangle and the Neufahrn motorway junction, is still in the planning approval process with the government of Upper Bavaria, says Josef Seebacher, spokesman for the Southern Bavaria Motorway Directorate.

Parallel to the planning approval process, the first plans for the construction preparations are being made.
“The aim of the Southern Bavaria Motorway Directorate is to start the measure quickly once the building permit has been obtained.
The project has a very high priority,” says Seebacher.

Expansion of the A92 near Munich: Construction expected to start in 2024
According to the current status and essentially dependent on the progress of the building law, construction is expected to start in 2024. The first construction phase is the six-lane expansion between Oberschleißheim and Unterschleißheim.
The costs amount to around 400 million euros.
According to Seebacher, a construction period of eight years is planned for the implementation of the project while maintaining traffic.
