Tutzing - With a subsidy, the community foundation is once again helping to ensure that a charitable project can be implemented in the district of Starnberg.

This time the funding goes to Tutzing.

As Gustav Huber, managing director of the community foundation "Landkreis Starnberg" based in Herrsching, informed, this time the beautification association Tutzing received a financial injection.

Founded in 1871 as a tourist and beautification association, it was revived in 1999 and its activities to this day show "how important the preservation, design and care of the place is to the members".

After new park benches on the lake shore, there is now a boules pitch

"We are committed to a well-groomed Tutzing and want to awaken a greater sense of the beauty of our homeland," says Chairwoman Anita Piesch.

For example, old park benches were replaced, especially on the lake shore.

The current project, the establishment of a cross-generational and barrier-free leisure facility in the form of a boules court, was funded by the Starnberg district community foundation with 750 euros.
