The heads of the Yosh authorities are outraged: "Michali is cutting off parts of the country" | Israel Hayom

Following the publication in "Israel Hayom", according to which the Ministry of Transportation uses a map that separates Yosh as part of the "Derech Shaveh" reform, the heads of the councils react angrily • Oded Ravibi: "The Minister of Transportation ignores Israeli citizens who live there, but expects them to serve in the reserves and pay taxes" • Yohai Demari: "The nickname 'West Bank' - a mockery of Jewish history and heritage"

The heads of the authorities in Judea and Samaria are reacting angrily to the publication in Israel Hayom, according to which the Ministry of Transportation uses a map that defines the Yosh areas as the "West Bank" as part of the "Derech Shaveh" reform. They accuse the Minister of Transportation of the de facto separation of the territory from the State of Israel.

"The publication in 'Israel Today', according to which on the map of the Ministry of Transportation Yosh is the 'West Bank' and not part of the State of Israel, reinforces what we have already claimed in the past - the Minister of Transportation ignores the transportation needs of Yosh and the Israeli citizens who live there, but expects them to serve in the reserves And taxes will be paid," said the head of the Efrat Council, Oded Ravibi.

"Michali has not yet internalized that she and her office have responsibilities towards them as well.

"In her decisions, she shows that she is disconnected from her voters, who chose a social list. Some of the workers who were militant towards the settlement were pushed to the bottom of the list, and that's enough for Hakima Baramiza."

"Yosh - Land of the Bible"

The head of the Mount Hebron Regional Council, Yohai Demari, also reacted angrily: "The nickname 'West Bank' is a mockery of the thousands of years of Jewish history and heritage in the Land of Israel. Yosh is the land of the Bible. Here the forefathers of the nation lived, here the vision of our prophets was heard , in the light of which the Declaration of Independence of our country was drawn up. It would be better if the Minister of Transportation works to improve US roads and dramatically reduce the number of injured and killed in accidents on our roads.

We are tired of burying our dead."

"Unfortunately, the definitions determine the reality on the ground," said the head of the Gush Etzion regional council, Shlomo Na'eman.

"Calling Yosh a 'Haggadah' is insulting.

This shows exactly the direction taken by the ministry led by Merav Michaeli, who sees the West Bank as 'the West Bank' - and not part of the State of Israel. This is also reflected in the ministry's attitude towards these lands.

"The time has come to say with a clear voice: only the application of sovereignty will remove these distorted ideas, which create a discriminatory attitude towards the residents of the State of Israel. When the national camp returns to rule, together with the improvement of the national preference map, the application of sovereignty should also be the first demand above, which will put an end to discrimination," he said loyal.
