With permission Nature and Gardens, we have collected for you recommendations for a variety of sites where you can go and be impressed by the beaches, the landscapes, the colors and even the animals in the area.

The most beautiful beaches in the country

Apollonia National Park

On the shores of Herzliya, you can admire an ancient Crusader fortress from the 11th century and look out over a breathtaking view over the Kurkar cliff, which provides a romantic view for couples and a perfect spot in front of the sunset.

You can go on a walking route along the sea path that passes along historical remains, cisterns, ancient furnaces and stop at observation decks on the steep cliffs or on the path leading to the Apollonia fortress.

Apollonia is right on the coastline, so there are many observation points overlooking the sea and the ancient sites there.

A romantic observation.

How to get there:

at the Kfar Shmariahu intersection turn towards Herzliya Pituach (brown signage will accompany you to the entrance to the garden), at the second roundabout turn right onto Wingate St. and continue straight to the garden.

Write in Wise:

Apollonia National Park (Tel Ashraf).

Tel Dor National Park

Tel Dor is a mound steeped in history, perched on the Kurkar ridge in the south of the Carmel coast, and in its territory there are several impressive bays.

For those interested in a trip to the place, you can walk west from the entrance, join the marked ridge path and walk along it along the coastline together with your partner.

An interesting stopping point on the way is a bay where the Guido tables form beautiful small pools of water, which are an important habitat for a wide variety of fish and invertebrates.

In this area, during the Hellenistic period, there was also an industry designed to produce the color crimson, which is another name for the deep red color, known as the color of love and luxury, which is very suitable for romance.

Further along the path you can also climb to the top of the Kurkar ridge, where there is a wonderful view of the remains of the ancient port at the foot of the hill.

To the south stretches the lagoon of Nachsholim beach.

There is also the end of the "accessible ridge trail", with which you comfortably return north to the starting point, while taking in new and high views of the beautiful coastal strip.

And most importantly, don't forget to take a picture from the top of the ridge, which will be a nice souvenir for lovers.

Romance in the North

The Banias

This stream is one of the brightest diamonds in the north of the country.

The stream, which is located in the Nahal Hermon Nature Reserve, is one of the most well-known in Israel, but inside it there is a clear and free corner of Hamad that few are aware of and know about, and is just right for couples who want to forget a little about the outside world on the most romantic day of the year, and in general.

The road there includes a spectacular view of the pools bathed in the stream with the murmur of water.

A green trail marker will lead us in a downward direction to the river bed, at the meeting with a black trail marker we will turn left and go down the stairs to the upside down Syrian tank, which remained in place from the Six Day War after it took part in the attack on Kibbutz Dan.

From there we will go back up and climb the black path that will lead us along the route.

Along the way, the shores of Mizrachi Dolev trees will open before us, and next to the turquoise blue waters in the pools washed in the stream, this is undoubtedly the perfect place for a rest stop and complete enjoyment of the magical view, together with the couple.

Harbel Cliff

The Harbel is a cliff located in the eastern part of the Lower Galilee and it rises to a height of about 390 meters above the Sea of Galilee.

On the trip, you can enjoy a romantic and spectacular view of the special view from it.

Barbel also has a number of mezphurs, one of which - the Carob, which you reach by walking on the Black Route - has a view overlooking the Sea of Galilee, the Golan, the Hermon and the east of the Upper and Lower Galilee, and of course it also provides an excellent spot for couple photos.

At Mount Nitai, which is further along the route, there is a single bench and an Ella tree that is impressive in its size and beauty, from which you can see the clearest evidence of the Syrian-African rift that cut Mount Arbel in two about 10 million years ago.

Excellent spot for photos.

After 1.1 km, you reach the Arbel ruins and the synagogue, and after another 2 km you reach the National Garden.

Stargazing in the Negev

Khan Barot overnight parking

"Starlight Reserve" is the name recently given to the Ramon Crater.

This is the first starlight reserve in the Middle East, and there is no doubt that when it comes to observing the sky, this is the best place for it.

"August 11 is usually a date when people come to the Negev to watch the shower of falling stars, but this year, due to a full moon, it will not take place. Instead, we invite the public to come to a romantic moonlit evening," said Oren Amit, audience and community officer in the Southern District At the Nature and Gardens Authority.

The Khan Barot overnight parking lot is in the heart of the crater.

Recently, a "space garden" was opened there, an area for stargazing equipped with telescopes that will help you observe the celestial bodies.

The telescopes are open to the guests of the parking lot at all hours of the night and without guidance.

The best place for stargazing.

Ramon Crater,

For those interested in a day trip the next morning, you can reach Abdat National Park, which was a Nabatean city located on the Nabatean trade route between Petra and the port of Gaza, which is the famous perfume route.

The city center, located on a spur of a hill rising to a height of 655 meters, the ancient traffic axis and the impressive remains that remain in the city, will illustrate to you the resourcefulness of the Nabateans who built and developed a magnificent city that was even recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

On a trip to the site you can see residential buildings and public buildings where the lives of the residents were conducted.

There is also an observation tower from the same period, from which there is a view of the entire Nabatean city and its neighboring cities.
