The district court in Haifa decided today (Thursday) to extend the detention of the teacher suspected of sexually assaulting her 15-year-old student by four days, after overturning the decision of the Kiryat Magistrate's Court to release her to house arrest, against which an appeal was filed.

As I recall, yesterday there was a stormy hearing in the Magistrate's Court in Kiryat, in the matter of the teacher from a kibbutz in the north.

The judge approved the release of the teacher to house arrest, but the police appealed.

Today, as mentioned, the appeal was accepted - and her detention was extended.

The letter that the teacher passed on to her little student,

According to Tammy Ullman, the teacher's lawyer, the girl was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, and the police pressured her to complain.

The lawyer also claimed that the girl used violence against the staff of teachers and students at the school, until she was hospitalized.

"The investigation began two months ago, the teacher cooperated and showed them that the girl contacted her from the hospital where she was hospitalized, and she was the one who demanded sexual contact and did not leave the teacher. The suspect complained that the girl was obsessed with her."
