The Indian army announced today that three of its soldiers were killed in an armed attack in the Indian part of Kashmir.
Reuters quoted an army official, who declined to be named, as saying that gunmen attacked a military post in Rajouri, in the Indian part of Kashmir, killing three soldiers and wounding two others, noting that the Indian forces responded with fire and killed two militants.
And cordoned off the area around the site of the attack, while the Indian security forces conducted searches and pursuit of the remnants of the attackers.
