Minister Tabbaa indicated that the national commitment that Syria will submit to the United Nations on the 22nd of August was built according to the foundations set by the United Nations, stressing that education in the next stage should focus on educational strategies, techniques, and test-building mechanisms, in addition to evaluating student results and work and how to organize The lesson through 6 basic elements that characterize teaching skills in the current century, the most important of which is the general framework of education, which leads to a new method of educational assessment.

Minister Tabbaa explained that to achieve this transformation in education, the social emotional fields must develop, possess advanced teaching skills and apply them within the educational classes, and use technology in education to facilitate the process of student understanding, awareness and participation in the lessons.

The Assistant Minister of Education, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Hammad, presented a summary on sustainable development and intermediate educational standards and indicators for the fourth goal. His axes centered on evaluating free and compulsory primary and secondary education, development in early childhood and universal pre-primary education, in addition to equal access to technical and vocational education, higher education and related skills. The Secretary-General of the National Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Dr. Nidal Hassan reviewed the steps taken by the national side in preparation for the summit to be held in New York next September on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, pointing to the efforts being made to prepare a statement of national commitment to the summit and send it on time.

Director of the National Center for the Development of Educational Curricula, Dr. Nadia Al-Ghazouli, spoke about learning and skills for life work and sustainable development, explaining the axes of foundational education from the perspective of lifelong learning in line with the transformation in education.

While the Director of School Health, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi, gave a presentation on advancing education through health-promoting schools and ensuring a safe, psychologically and socially supportive school environment.
