Spring (Western District) Nursing Home 29 people must be quarantined

As for the Spring (Western District) Nursing Home, four residents and two staff were infected with the virus yesterday and today, and 25 residents and four staff were required to undergo quarantine.

As for residential care homes for the disabled, five new confirmed cases were reported today, including Kwun Tong Choi Yee Home Co., Ltd., the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong Bi-Love Home Dormitory, and the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association Si Yue Yuan.

Among them, two residents of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Hung Fook Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Center and Dormitory have tested positive, and 27 residents have to undergo quarantine.

Regarding schools, Zhang Zhujun pointed out that there were 214 new cases reported today, including 147 students and 67 teaching staff.

The cases involved 179 schools, including 42 kindergartens, 73 primary schools, 57 secondary schools and seven special schools.

And 85 schools have two or more confirmed cases in the past seven days, but no school has classes that need to be closed for a week today.
