An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq, without reports of injuries or material damage.

And the Iraqi News Agency quoted the Ministry of Transport as saying in a statement today: The observatories of the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring recorded an earthquake this morning, measuring 3.7 degrees, 13 km west of Kalar district in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
