Actress Anne Heche: Family "expects that she will not survive"

US actress Anne Heche has been in a coma since a car accident.
The family would like to grant her one last big wish.
Los Angeles – US actress Anne Heche is hospitalized with serious injuries after a car accident in Los Angeles on Friday (August 5).
She fell into a coma shortly after the accident, a spokeswoman for the 53-year-old told the
Los Angeles Times
on Monday (August 8) .
According to consistent media reports, the actress's family sees no chance of survival after the 53-year-old's car accident.
Heche suffered a serious brain injury in the accident and remains in a coma, according to the award-winning actress' agent.
"It is expected that she will not survive," the US broadcaster
CNN
quoted a statement from the family on Thursday evening.
The actress has long wanted to donate her organs, her agent reportedly said.
"She remains hooked up to life support equipment to determine if organs are viable."
Actress Anne Heche seriously injured in car accident
American actress Anna Heche was involved in an accident on August 5 in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Heche's car crashed into a house at high speed and only came to a stop after almost ten meters.
A fire also broke out.
As US media announced on Thursday, the police are currently investigating driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Heche was known for films like Donnie Brasco, Six Days Seven Nights, Wag the Dog and Volcano.
Among other things, she was awarded the US television prize Emmy.
TV audiences know her from shows like “Ally McBeal” and “Nip/Tuck”. Anne Heche has been married several times and has two sons.
