Arnold Schwarzenegger's bodyguard evaded taxes - now he faces five years in prison

He guarded actor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Wiesn, but his muscles don't help against the judiciary either: celebrity bodyguard Fabian P. (36) has been on trial since Friday - he faces long imprisonment.
Munich – Fabian P. (36) was Arnold Schwarzenegger's bodyguard – he protected the movie star several times at the Wiesn.
But the muscle man has trouble with the judiciary.
The public prosecutor's office has accused P. of tax evasion.
He is said to have evaded more than one million euros in taxes.
The accused is an athlete: the Munich bodyguard has such broad shoulders that he can hardly fit through the courtroom door.
Next to him, the prison guards look like stick figures.
But in the morning, the 1.94-meter giant then said sheepishly: "I fully admit the allegations from the indictment." The public prosecutor's office had accused P. of tax fraud - both private and commercial tax fraud over a period of eight years.
In total, it is an evasion in the amount of 1,082,356.03 euros.

The public prosecutor's office had been investigating the case for a total of four years.
According to a decision by the Federal Court of Justice, the judiciary may no longer show mercy if the tax evasion is more than one million euros.
It was the same with ex-Bayern boss Uli Hoeneß, who was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in 2014 for tax evasion of 28.5 million euros.
The next prominent tax evader is already on trial in Munich this fall: star chef Alfons Schuhbeck is said to have evaded two million euros.
He is also threatened with imprisonment.

From Hollywood to Stadelheim: Fabian P. once surrounded himself with movie stars like Schwarzenegger and Ralf Möller.
The bodyguard can also be seen in photos with film and television stars such as Elyas M'Barek or Verona Pooth.
But it is pretty certain that he will soon have to go to prison.
Fabian P. agreed to a so-called deal on Friday through his lawyer Werner Sieber: In return for his confession, the district court assured him of the maximum punishment that could be expected.
It is four and a half to five years in prison.
Background: Fabian P. had already been sentenced to two years and two months for weapons offenses in 2019, and now a total sentence is being formed.
The trial will continue on Wednesday.
