An incident of falling from a building and crushing people occurred in Western District. Yesterday (11th) at around 9 pm, a man fell from the heights of Block 6, The Butcher Garden, No. 89, Pok Fu Lam Road, hitting a 38-year-old Pakistani male security guard in the building. Rescue workers arrived after receiving the report.


An incident of falling from a building and crushing people occurred in Western District.

Yesterday (11th) at around 9 pm, a man fell from the heights of Block 6, The Butcher Garden, No. 89, Pok Fu Lam Road, hitting a 38-year-old Pakistani male security guard in the building.

Rescue personnel arrived after receiving the report and confirmed that the man who fell from the building was apparently dead; the security guard who was pinned down suffered injuries to his hands, but he was still awake and was taken to Queen Mary Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

It is understood that the deceased's surname is Cai (30 years old), and it is initially believed that he fell from the roof. The police have not seized the suicide note.
