According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the FBI seized eleven records of confidential or secret documents during a search of the property of former US President Donald Trump.
These include those that were classified as top secret and could only be viewed in special government institutions.
The list of documents seized does not contain details of their contents.
The secret service received the search warrant because of sufficient suspicion of espionage.
In total, the FBI agents took around 20 boxes with objects, folders with photos, a handwritten note and the plea for clemency for Trump's ally Roger Stone from Mar-a-Lago.
The list of items also contained information about the "President of France," it said.
Trump, on the other hand, announced on Friday that all documents had been released, i.e. they were only previously secret or confidential.
Anything else would be a big problem for him, too, since numerous federal laws prohibit the misuse of classified information, including the Espionage Act and another prohibiting the unauthorized removal and storage of classified information.
Trump himself had tightened the penalties for this offense during his mat time, and since then there has been a risk of up to five years in prison.
The "Washington Post" had previously reported that the FBI was said to have searched the property for classified documents about nuclear weapons.
Trump had denied that too.
