In the same breath, he demanded "campaign discipline", which includes obedience to messages and coordinating interviews with the party headquarters.
Netanyahu is satisfied with the list, and at the same time wants to be very careful.
This is what he thinks about the shortlisted list.
There are faces there that Netanyahu is happy to present such as Levin, Ohana, Gallant, Barkat, Distel-Atbarian and Bismuth.
But he also has a fear of unknown candidates, who lack communication experience
and have hawkish views on the justice system.
Candidates, who in interviews and with extreme statements, may puncture the main target he is addressing: the people of the soft right.

The winners and losers:
One of the biggest winners in the primaries did not participate in them at all: Gilad Erdan.
Erdan preferred not to join the competition this time, and to remain at the UN. He saw how his fellow members of the five, Yuli Edelstein and Israel Katz, were pushed back on the list, losing the title of "Likud seniors", and perhaps also the possibility of leading the party the day after Netanyahu.
Arden remained unharmed.
With the aura of ambassador to the UN, he will return in the future as a prominent candidate to succeed Netanyahu. Additional beneficiaries are all those who expressed significant trust in Netanyahu and closeness to him. Yariv Levin, his confidant, won first place by a huge margin. Dodi Amsalem, Yoav Kish and Shlomo Karai, who fought from the benches The opposition loudly jumped forward. Galit Distel-Atbarian broke the curse of the armored and bolted high, Eli Cohen and Yoav Galant completed the transformation from members of the Kulanu party to distinct Likud members, and also Boaz Bismuth, who entered the list in the primaries of only two weeks.

As much as Netanyahu bought himself devout supporters in the new list, he may also suffer from quite a few disgruntled people.
David Bitan was criticized for supporting his uncle Laniado and he is surrounded by close friends in the faction such as Haim Katz, Nissim Vatori and Etti Atia.
Add to that Israel Katz and Yuli Edelstein who were pushed out of the list, and the wheels of the conspiracy can spin a scenario that if Netanyahu does not obtain the 61 mandates, he may find himself in a difficult war at home.

One of the things encouraging Netanyahu in the primaries was the high voter turnout.
Out of 140 thousand officials, almost 80 thousand came to the polling stations.
A relatively good number, given the heat and the August holidays.
Does this mean that the Likudniks will also go to the polls on election day?
Not at all safe.
Not all are "political animals"
Although many functionaries, especially those who reached the polling stations, are political animals.
They are politically involved, close to the contestants, politics bubble up in them.
But is it possible to throw from 80 thousand functionaries to more than a million voters?
Not sure.
Even during the times when Netanyahu brought the Abraham Accords and defeated the Corona virus with the help of vaccines, they were sure that the supporters would show up - and that was not the case.
The task, this time too, will be particularly difficult.
