A transgender prostitute died on the night of Wednesday August 10 to Thursday August 11 in Paris after being stabbed by another trans sex worker, AFP learned on Friday August 12 from a source familiar with the matter.
A murder investigation has been opened and entrusted to the 2nd district of the judicial police, according to the Paris prosecutor's office requested by AFP, confirming information from the Parisian.
Around 3:00 a.m., a fight between the two women broke out near Pigalle, said a source familiar with the matter.

For reasons still unknown, one of them stabbed the second and fled.
The victim, aged 39 and from Congo, died two hours later despite the care of the Samu, according to the source familiar with the matter.
An autopsy of the victim's body was to take place on Friday, the same source told AFP.
