Friends and family of Tobias D. from Eichenried have been worried since Friday evening.

The 25-year-old disappeared at the Brass Wiesn Festival - now he has been found dead.

As reported by the police in Upper Bavaria North, the autopsy of Tobias D., who was found dead, has been completed.

Even after the forensic medical examination, the investigating criminal police in Erding found no indication that third parties might have been involved in the circumstances of the death.

So far, the police have received isolated tips from people who Tobias D. visited during the festival on August 5th.

Eleven forces from the IHV eV search dog squadron tried to find a trace of the young man on Sunday evening and on Monday night with seven dogs.

They met relatives of the missing Tobias near the festival site.

"And an odor object was handed over," reports Jenny Füchsel, squadron leader of the Freising section.

The dogs picked up the smell and marched north along Heidestrasse, into the town.

The team was here for four and a half hours.

Then the track was lost and the dogs were tired too.

It is very difficult for the animals to pick up a scent that is more than 24 hours after they have disappeared, "if not almost impossible, you actually have no chance".

Especially since the circumstances on Friday evening, at the time of the disappearance, were very complex: many visitors, rain, damp ground.

An intensive search for the missing person is still being carried out via Facebook.

Apparently he was "heavily drunk" and injured and was last seen around 11 p.m. at the entrance to the campsite when the site was cleared on Friday evening due to the storm.

Echinger are now asked to search garages and barns.

Other festival-goers should check their smartphones and cameras for photos of the missing person.
