After completing the 3-day hotel quarantine, relevant persons can leave the hotel with a "yellow code" and undergo 4-day home medical surveillance.
Yellow code holders can go to work or school, take public transport and enter shopping malls during the medical surveillance period, but are not allowed to enter high-risk places, including restaurants, bars, hair salons, indoor sports facilities and swimming pools.
The Education Bureau recently issued guidelines to schools, reminding schools that students with yellow codes should have the same learning opportunities, and requiring schools to allow relevant students to return to school for face-to-face courses.
The Education Bureau also pointed out that since students are exempted from the use of "safe travel" when entering the school, the school should remind students to take the initiative to report the status of holding a yellow code.

Those with red codes should call the police if they enter the school
Since those who have completed the 3-day hotel quarantine can enter the community and return to work or school, some of them may be students.
The Education Bureau has recently issued a notice to schools reminding them of the latest red-yellow code measures.
Relevant guidelines point out that because only those who have tested positive will have a red code, schools should deny access to the campus for those with a red code, including staff, students and visitors.
Since the confirmed cases should not leave their isolation places, the school also needs to report to the police immediately.

In terms of yellow codes, according to the current policy, arrivals can still go to work and school after completing the 3-day hotel quarantine.

However, relevant staff and students are only allowed to return to school if they test negative daily.
As for any yellow code visitors, they are not allowed to enter the school, such as those who participate in school celebration activities as members of the public.
