Rescue of miners: Mexican prosecutor seeks to file charges against mine owner

In Mexico, the owner of the El Pinabete mine, where ten workers are trapped, could face formal charges for alleged illegal exploitation of the subsoil and for violating the laws that apply to those who carry out these productive activities.

The country's Attorney General's Office requested a hearing to present the charges.

This Thursday, rescue attempts failed due to obstructed visibility in the mine.
