The Greens continue to gain favor with voters.
In a federal election on Sunday, the party would get 26 percent.
This is the result of the new ZDF political barometer.
The party with the popular ministers Annalena Baerbock and Robert Habeck improved by one percentage point.
It is thus on par with the CDU and CSU.
Union values remained unchanged.
On the other hand, things are going badly for the SPD.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz's party would only get 19 percent (minus two percentage points) in an election on Sunday.
According to the survey by the Mannheim research group Wahlen, the FDP comes to seven percent (plus one) and the AfD to twelve percent (plus one).
The left would fail with four percent (minus one) at the five percent hurdle.
Three politicians from the Greens in the first places
Greens also occupy the top positions when it comes to liking and performance.
Economics Minister Habeck again has the best values.
It is ranked on the scale from +5 to -5 with an average score of 1.7 (mid-July: 1.6).
Foreign Minister Baerbock follows in second place with 1.3 (1.2) and Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir is now in third place with 1.0 (0.8).
Only then does Chancellor Scholz come with 0.8 (0.8), Labor Minister Hubertus Heil with 0.7 (0.9), Health Minister Karl Lauterbach with 0.3 (0.4), CSU boss Markus Söder with minus 0, 1 (minus 0.1).
Finance Minister Christian Lindner was rated at minus 0.2 (minus 0.1), CDU leader Friedrich Merz at minus 0.4 (minus 0.4) and Sahra Wagenknecht from the left at minus 0.6 (minus 0.6) .
58 percent of all respondents also stated that the federal government is doing too little to relieve the burden on citizens in view of the high prices.
30 percent say that is just about right and five percent believe that too much is being done about it.
A particularly large number of supporters of the AfD (80 percent) and the left (71 percent) criticize the federal government for a lack of activities in this matter, but also those of the FDP (60 percent), Union (53 percent), Greens (53 percent) and SPD (52 percent) each think that the federal government is not doing enough.
