The Government stated that in response to the positive results of sewage tests in multiple districts and the relatively high virus load, the local District Office will distribute a total of about 230,000 rapid antigen test kits to residents, cleaners and property managers in the following locations for their self-testing , to aid in the identification of infected persons.

The affected locations are as follows:

Islands District - Tung Chung Sheung Lingpi, Ha Lingpi, Pa Mei Village, Ma Wan New Village, Wong Ka Wai and Lung Tsing Tau, and Man Tung Village

Kowloon City - Hoi Ming Xuan and Whampoa Garden (Palm Court, Lily Court, Cotton Tree Court, Green Banyan Court, Silver Bamboo Court, Green Birch Court, Bauhinia Court, Tsui Yeung Court, Kim Pak Court and Kam Tao Court)


Kwun Tong District - Lam Tin Village, Tak Tin Village, Cha Kwo Ling Village, Choi Hing Court, Lok Ya Court, On Kee Court and residential areas near Prosperous Street and Cha Kwo Ling Road

The Hong Kong government reminds that people who have obtained a positive result for the first time with a rapid antigen test can declare through the online platform of the "2019 Coronavirus Rapid Antigen Test Positive Results Person Declaration System".

If members of the public have difficulty using the online platform, they can call the automated system at 183 6119 to register their identity documents and telephone numbers.

The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health will contact the person concerned to complete the declaration process.

In addition, when using the rapid antigen test kit, members of the public should pay attention to and follow the manufacturer's instructions, conduct the test and read the results correctly, and take pictures immediately after reading the results for record.

Hands must be clean before and after the test, and non-essential supplies should be kept to a minimum in the sample collection area.

After testing, all components of the test kit need to be carefully wrapped, sealed and disposed of properly.

If the household environment is contaminated during sample collection, it should be disinfected with 1:49 diluted household bleach or 70% alcohol.
