The Harry Potter game has been postponed until next year

Warner Bros. Games releases a statement that Hogwarts Legacy will be delayed by several months so that they can polish the experience

Last March we got our first extensive look at the new action role-playing title set in the Harry Potter universe - Hogwarts Legacy, and it looked like it was the game fans had been dreaming about all these years.

Now the Warner Bros. gaming division is releasing a particularly disappointing statement that the game that was supposed to be released for the holiday season of 2022, will be delayed until 2023.

If the game was supposed to be released in the November period of this year,

2023. The company released a statement on Twitter stating: "The development team is excited for the release of the game, but it needs more time so that we can provide you with the best gaming experience."

In Hogwarts Legacy players will have to create their main character and go on an adventure as students at Hogwarts School of Wizardry in the late 1800s.

The gameplay will present action-roles in an open world and the players will be able to explore the Hogwarts castle and the environments that surround it to their heart's content, and will be able to learn along the way new magics that will help them discover hidden places and secrets and solve various puzzles.

The Hogwarts Legacy game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, Xbox One and Series X\S on February 10, 2023. The date of the Nintendo Switch version will be revealed at a later stage.

This is not the first game from the Warner Bros. development division to be delayed recently, and Gotham Knights, which was supposed to be released back in December, was delayed to October this year, and Suicide Squad was delayed until the first or second quarter of 2023.
