Yosef Albaz, who has been on hunger strike for two days, was hospitalized due to pain in the heart muscle • The Palestinian Prisoner's Club called for his release due to his health condition

Sheikh Melod Yosef Albaz, who was previously convicted of a series of serious crimes and imprisoned in the Rimon prison, was transported by ambulance to the Soroka hospital.

This after he felt ill due to pain in the heart muscle.

The Sheikh started a hunger strike two days ago in prison due to the conditions of his imprisonment.

The Palestinian prisoner's club said that tension reigns in Rimon prison following the arrest of Albaz and his health condition.

It was also written that "the occupation and its security forces kept him in custody, despite a previous decision of the court to release him."

As you may remember, Albaz's name made headlines during Operation Guard of the Walls.

He was convicted of inciting violence and threats.

In addition, he was convicted of threats and assault with a cold weapon.

Last June it was determined that he would serve 20 months in prison.
