This morning (12th) at 7:00 am, two motorcycles parked next to Jinling Building, No. 10-20 Qudi Street, suddenly burst into flames, and thick flames and smoke gushed out. Many residents were alerted to the police, and firefighters arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured. The fire department believed that the fire alarm was suspicious and did not rule out arson.
As seen at the scene, the motorcycle was burned to the remaining bracket, the split air conditioner on the lower floor of the building was burned, the exterior wall was severely blackened, and the paint was splattered and peeled off.
Some neighbors pointed out that at about 7 am this morning, after opening the window of the unit, they saw a motorcycle on fire. At that time, the fire was fierce, and the flames rushed to the third floor. .
Police cordoned off the scene for investigation and are collecting nearby CCTV footage to trace the incident.
