"Right from the set to the cash register": "Rosenheim Cops" star had to work in the drugstore on the side

Baran Hêvî plays inspector Kilian Kaya in the ZDF cult series "Die Rosenheim Cops".
However, before his breakthrough, the actor struggled a lot.
Acting alone could not finance his living.
Rosenheim – Baran Hêvî (35) became a star through the cult series “Rosenheim Cops”.
But the beginning was anything but easy for the 35-year-old.
Because his acting couldn't make a living, he had to work at the cash register of a drugstore after filming.

In the ZDF television series, the native of Ingolstadt takes on the role of Commissioner Kilian Kaya.
In early 2021, Baran Hêvî celebrated his debut on the show.
In the meantime, he is even an integral part of the show and inspires viewers every week.
“It was still like that in my first 'Rosenheim Cops' year.
I went straight back to the cash register from the set," Baran revealed in an interview with BUNTE.
He couldn't make a living from acting.
The starting salary for actors is a maximum of 1,700 euros gross.
Since April 2020, young professionals have been entitled to 850 euros per day of shooting.
What Baran Hêvî earned as a beginner, he does not reveal.

But he was no longer an unknown to fans after his “Rosenheim Cops” debut.
Again and again, fans of the show have spotted Commissioner Kilian Kaya behind the cash register.
After the second season, Baran wanted to focus completely on acting: "Don't look for me in any markets anymore.
I don't collect anymore!” he laughs.

GZSZ star Chryssanthi Kavazi has also had hard times.
At the beginning of her career, the actress couldn't even afford pasta.
