The National Office for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization clarified in a report published today on its website that the occupation seized large areas of the city’s lands and besieged it with settlements, surrounding it with 24 settlement gatherings that tore the towns and villages of the city and its villages along with the apartheid wall, after seizing thousands of dunums of land. its lands.
The report pointed out that the recent announcement by the occupation of a plan to establish a new settlement comprising 381 settlement units on 259 dunums of the lands of Deir Istiya town in Salfit, in addition to the construction of a settlement road network linking the area with the new settlement that mediates two settlements established by the occupation in the east and west of the area.. This means that the occupation is planning To establish a new assembly that includes these settlements and exacerbates the suffering of the Palestinians in them.
The report pointed out that the occupation is accelerating the pace of implementation of its settlement plans throughout the West Bank, as it seized large areas of Abu Dis, Ras al-Amud and al-Sawahrah lands in the occupied city of Jerusalem to establish a new settlement outpost. On its lands, bulldozing the surrounding mountains and moving the soil to and near Palestinian homes, while the occupation authorities seized areas of the lands of Sa’ir town in Hebron to build a settlement road.
The report indicated that the occupation forces demolished seven houses and five commercial and agricultural facilities in the towns of Al-Isawiya, Beit Hanina and Al-Ka’abneh in Jerusalem, and several houses in the towns of Al-Dirat in Hebron, Tekoa and Husan in Bethlehem and Al-Auja in Jericho, while they delivered demolition notices for the Ain Samiya school in Ramallah and homes in Shuafat camp and the towns of Silwan In Jerusalem, Jiftlik in Jericho, and Fasayel in the Jordan Valley.
The report indicated that the settlers seized areas of the lands of Artas town in Bethlehem, stormed Palestinian agricultural lands in the towns of Turmusaya and Ni’lin in Ramallah, and Al-Khader in Bethlehem and Tarqumiya in Hebron, uprooted hundreds of olive trees, destroyed summer crops, and attacked Palestinian homes and properties in the villages of Urif and Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya in Nablus and destroyed part of a water line in Khirbet Al-Farisiyah in the northern Jordan Valley that feeds more than 300 dunams.
