About 80 thousand Israelis took advantage of the pleasant weather and walked today (Saturday) in nature reserves and national parks.
Among the prominent sites were the Sahna National Park with about 3,000 travelers and the Achziv and Caesarea National Parks and the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve with about 2,000 travelers each.
Masada and Yarkon National Parks and Dor Hobonim and Banias Nature Reserves also stood out.
Also, five days after the ceasefire in Operation Dawn, the balloon festival was held in Hashur National Park (Eshkol Park).
About 6000 travelers who came to the festival stayed overnight throughout the national park and enjoyed the display of balloons and their flight and a variety of fun evening activities.
Other evening activities that took place were in Tzipori, Tel Arad and Abdat National Parks with activities and performances for Tu Bab, a Poika workshop at Masada West overnight parking lot and a film screening in the Yachiam Fortress National Park.

At the same time, the control room of the Association of Kinneret Cities reported that today over 16,000 vacationers spent time on the union's quiet beaches and 55,000 vacationers spent the entire weekend.
Meanwhile, the nice weather will continue tomorrow when it will be partly cloudy.
In the morning there may be local drizzle in the north of the country and in its center, the temperatures will be slightly lower than usual especially in the mountains, on the coastal plain the heat loads will be normal for the season.
