A 27-year-old woman drowned today (Saturday) at Sidney Ali beach in Herzliya.
After she was pulled from the water by passers-by, MDA medics and paramedics performed CPR on her. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
MDA paramedic Erin Kabaha and emergency medicine medic at MDA Issachar Weiss said: "We entered the intensive care unit with the ambulance up to the water line in the northern part of the beach. The drowning woman, who was pulled from the water by passers-by, was lying on the sand unconscious with no pulse and no breathing. CPR was performed on her and we evacuated her to the hospital in an MDA intensive care vehicle while continuing CPR as her condition is critical."
