A 54-year-old laborer was killed during his work in Netanya, February 18, 2022 (MDA)
Yahya Nasasara, an 18-year-old young man, was electrocuted to death today (Saturday) in Taiba.
An MDA team that was called to the scene evacuated him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in critical condition - where he was later pronounced dead. According to the known details, the young man was working in the family business when he was electrocuted. Apparently, the cause of the electrocution was a washing machine.

About a month ago, a 30-year-old man was seriously injured by electrocution at a construction site in Ramat Gan.
About six months ago, Alexander Sverdlenko, a 54-year-old laborer from Haifa, was killed by electrocution while working in Netanya.
At the beginning of the month, a worker was moderately-severely injured when he fell from a height at a construction site on Yakim Street in Jerusalem and bruised his back.
At the end of July, a 40-year-old laborer was seriously injured when he fell from a height in Taiba and bruised his head.
In July, a worker was killed when a wall collapsed at a construction site in Herzliya.
In the years 2017-2021, 354 workers were killed in work accidents.
Only 42 criminal charges were filed in their deaths.
