Next to the Tutzinger hospital there is again a corona test center.
Operations start this Saturday.
Tutzing – From this Saturday there will again be a test opportunity in Tutzing directly at the Benedictus Hospital.
Anyone who wants to visit the sick or needs a quick corona test for other reasons can be tested in two rental containers in the car park of the Tutzingen hospital.
At the moment it has been agreed with the clinic that the test station can remain there until March, says Julia Magenau, who runs several test centers together with her husband Lars and the Rittinghausen couple.
"If Corona is over by Christmas, we can go every four weeks," jokes Julia Magenau.
The previous location in the medical center was no longer available for the test center.
A supply center is moving in there, says Magenau.
“The hospital wanted a long-term tenant.
But we can't commit ourselves to five years.” Hence the containers that were set up on Thursday.
The staff for the test station is the same as before: "In Starnberg and Tutzing we have around 30 people, including many 450-euro jobs," explains Magenau.
The location at the hospital is so important because visitors have to show a negative rapid test.
They get it free of charge after presenting a letter from the hospital, as do children under the age of 5 and pregnant women.
If you need a quick test for other purposes, you have to pay 3 euros.
The Tutzing test station is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during the week from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
"Suitable for the visiting hours," says Julia Magenau.
