The workshops began to restore and rehabilitate Palmyra's automated bakery, which was damaged as a result of the attacks of the terrorist organization (ISIS).
The head of Palmyra City Council Hani Daas said in a statement to SANA reporter that rehabilitating the bakery is an important step within the framework of improving the city’s infrastructure services and in terms of providing good quality bread to the residents of Palmyra and the surrounding areas in light of the increase in the number of people returning to the area, especially that there is great suffering in securing these The article is currently from the city of Homs.
According to the head of the city council, the duration of the completion of the rehabilitation project, which is implemented in cooperation between the General Company for Bakeries and the International First Aid Organization, is three months, indicating that the works will be in two phases, the first includes civil and construction works for the bakery building, and the second is the recruitment of equipment and machinery to install an advanced production line.
When completed, Palmyra's automated bakery will replace the temporary bakery that was installed after restoring safety and stability to the city.
