Road bike race: police block route

The European Championships lead to traffic delays and restrictions in public transport.
On this Sunday the cyclists cross Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – The European elite in men's road cycling will cross the district on Sunday, August 14th.
On Sunday, August 21, the women's peloton reaches Wolfratshausen.
The participants in the European Championships 2022 will be celebrated at some of the posts (we reported).
Car and bus drivers have to be prepared for restrictions.
Important in advance: The Wolfratshausen police point out no stopping along the cycle track and also in the rest of the city.
Some of the signs are put up before the event.
"Vehicles parked along the cycle track must be towed away," says a press release.
The police are asking you to comply with the no-parking restrictions, “to save you the cost of the warning on the one hand, and to save you considerable costs and effort from towing on the other.”
If you are on vacation, you should ask neighbors or friends to check on the parked car every three days at the latest and, if necessary, to move it.
European Championships 2022 in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen: closures due to road bike races
This Sunday, the cyclists will come from Murnau via Kesselberg (10.57 a.m.), Lenggries (11.57 a.m.) and Bad Tölz (12.10 p.m.) and will reach Geretsried in the northern district at 12.32 p.m., Eurasburg at 12.45 p.m. and Münsing at 12.57 p.m.
"As a rule, the route is closed about 30 minutes before the throughput time, until the entire entourage has passed a point, it takes about 15 minutes," informs the district office.
Anyone who wants to cheer on the athletes can take the X970 bus free of charge on Sunday, August 14th.
A week later, the offer applies to route X320 to Wolfratshausen.
Bus connections are canceled due to the European Championships 2022 in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen
Individual journeys in public transport will be canceled this Sunday: On line X970, the Starnberg journey ends in Wolfratshausen from 11.29 a.m., it is canceled between Wolfratshausen and Bad Tölz.
The journey from Bad Tölz from 1:16 p.m. to Wolfratshausen is omitted, it only starts from there at 1:59 p.m.
The Starnberg journey from 12:29 p.m. must be diverted between Starnberg, District Office/Seebad and Wolfratshausen - the stops at Berg/Grafstraße, Aufkirchen and Dorfen near Wolfratshausen are omitted on this journey.
On route 961, the following will be omitted without replacement: the trips from Starnberg North at 11:52 a.m. and 12:52 p.m.;
The trip from Ammerland at 12.20 p.m.;
The trip from Münsing at 1:27 p.m.
On route 975, the journey from Starnberg Nord at 12.08 p.m. and from Wolfratshausen at 12.42 p.m. will be omitted without replacement.
