There is a lot going on in Cologne at the weekend: street festivals in the old town and in Ehrenfeld as well as the wine festival at the Rheinauhafen
Cologne – This weekend (12th to 14th August) the people of Cologne can look forward to numerous outdoor events, reports 24RHEIN.
Among other things, there are two street festivals in Cologne: the old town festival starts on Friday at Heumarkt and on Saturday you can stroll down Venloer Straße in Ehrenfeld, where the Venlo street festival takes place.

The Old Town Festival starts on Friday (August 12) in Cologne city center, and it's bigger than usual. Cologne culture on the Heumarkt with various stages, food stalls, and beer and sales stands.

In the district of Ehrenfeld, the big street festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday (13th to 14th August) on Venloer Straße.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected.
In addition to two stages with a music program, clothes and art can also be bought at the popular street festival.
The numerous food and drink stands provide refreshments.
Children can enjoy carousels, trampolines and a car show.

Attention all wine lovers: until Sunday (14 August) you can try out different wine regions and varieties.
Enjoy a glass of wine in the warm summer temperatures with a view of Cologne Cathedral and directly on the Rhine.
At the wine festival at the Rheinauhafen you will find winegrowers from France, Germany and Greece.
Food trucks will help with snacks such as tarte flambée and crêpes if you get hungry between meals.

Cologne music at the Tanzbrunnen
The Cologne veteran among the carnival bands Bläck Föös come to the Tanzbrunnen on Saturday (13 August).
Under a bright blue sky, fans can look forward to classics such as "Drink but a met" or "Mer losse d'r Dom in Kölle".
The cult band has been playing at the Tanzbrunnen every summer for 46 years.
