The Ministry of Transport announced today that the educational course to compensate the results of maritime secondary students for the transitional classes will start tomorrow.
Director of Vocational and Technical Education in the Ministry, Dr. Salman Sabiha Bayn, told SANA reporter that the course will be held for students who failed in marine secondary schools, starting from tomorrow, Sunday, and continuing until the 1st of next September.
Sabiha explained that the ministry had decided earlier to grant students of vocational maritime secondary schools who failed in the transitional grades (tenth and eleventh) an educational course of 15 days, which will be followed by an exam that will be determined on the basis of the student’s success or remaining failing, explaining that the number of repeaters reached about 25 students in Latakia and about 10 students in Tartous.
Sabiha pointed out that during the next week the results of the second session of the Naval Secondary Certificate will be released, noting that the number of applicants reached 125 students.
