Friends of the Middle Ages, who wanted to be photographed in historical costumes at the Historical Market, had long faces last weekend.
The popular master photographer, who lets his customers slip into the clothes of damsels, knights and villains, could not be found.
Only the locked tent stood in the usual place.
Schongau
- That was the bad news.
Now the good news: Tobias Fuhrmann has reopened his doors at the Schongau Summer.
If your grandparents or even great-grandparents have not inherited any historically appropriate clothing in the attic, but still want to be photographed in an outfit from that time for a souvenir photo, you have come to the right place.
The master of the "cut lens" photographed entire drinking sessions in historical robes.
Even oversizes can be dressed by his team on site.
"Master Tobias" has bought plenty of clothes from the theater association especially for this event.
Of course, there are plenty of parts available as decoration that have to be cleverly included in the picture.
Beer mugs and tankards, flails, wine balloons and witches' brooms, even a skull lies meaningfully on the window frame.
In no time at all, the right background will conjure you up into a spooky wine cellar.
One afternoon, however, the tables were turned: "Master Tobias" became a villain and had to go through the fiddle with his hands and collar.
Much to the delight of the knight damsel Theresa, who keeps the villain at bay with her sword.
It is not known how long Fuhrmann had to hold out in this position.
Not even who got him out of this predicament.
In any case, he is now back behind the camera.
