The driver was arrested on suspicion of "failure to provide a sample for alcohol analysis", and the driver was handed over as required by law License, no driving for 24 hours.

His vehicle was also suspected of being illegally modified and suspected of violating the Road Traffic (Construction and Maintenance of Vehicles) Regulations. He was detained at the Quarry Bay Police Vehicle Detention Centre for examination.

In the early morning of August 14, during the operation, the police found a private car violating road markings and stopped for investigation. Later, they found that the 43-year-old male driver surnamed Su was driving another car.

After investigation, the vehicle's driving license expired, and the driver continued to drive within 24 hours after surrendering the driving license. The driver also failed to provide a breath sample, and was suspected of "failure to provide a breath sample for testing". , "Driving within 24 hours of surrender of license", "Driving without third party risk insurance", "Driving an unlicensed vehicle" and "Breaching road markings" and arrested him.

The vehicle involved was also suspected of illegal modification and was detained at the Quarry Bay Police Vehicle Detention Centre for examination.

The arrested person is temporarily charged with the above-mentioned charges and the case will appear in the Eastern District Court tomorrow (August 15).
