A representative for Anne Heche's family told CNN that the actress has been placed on an organ recipient and will therefore be taken off life support on Sunday.
Last Friday, Heche was driving a car at high speed when it went off the road and crashed into a residence that was engulfed in flames, Los Angeles police public information officer Jeff Lee told CNN.

A week after the accident, Heche was "brain dead" but remained on life support, according to a statement from her family and friends and shared with CNN by her representative.
Under California law, due to her condition, Heche is considered legally dead.
"It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable," the family said in a statement earlier Thursday night.
