At least 35 dead and 45 injured in a fire that broke out today (Sunday) in a church in the city of Giza in Egypt.
The fire apparently broke out due to a short circuit, and as a result, a mass of worshipers in the Coptic church of Abu Siffin were killed.
According to estimates, about 5,000 worshipers participated in the Mass on the first day.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called the incident a "tragic accident" and said he was "closely following the development."
