The Diaoyu Protection Action Committee said today (14th) that the vessel "Qifeng 2" that went to Diaoyutai to declare China's sovereignty has sunk.
"Qifeng No. 2" was purchased by the Diaoyu Protection Action Committee in 2006, and went to the Diaoyu Islands to declare sovereignty in October 2006 and August 2012 respectively.
The ship fell into disrepair and was severely damaged during Typhoon Mangkhut in 2018.
