Gafni: Adding Matan Kahana to Gantz's party is a serious mistake
Kahana is a "red sheet" for the ultra-Orthodox parties due to the reforms he passed in the Ministry of Religious Services during his tenure as minister.
With the announcement of his joining the "state camp" he was also attacked by Shas seniors, who said that the move "shows Gantz's true face". Shaked: "The state left is good news for all left voters"

The ultra-Orthodox parties reacted strongly today (Sunday) to MK Matan Kahane joining the list of the "state camp" led by Defense Minister Benny Gantz. Chairman of Torah Judaism MK Moshe Gafni said in a conversation with his associates that Gantz and Minister Gideon Sa'ar "made a serious mistake" in joining Kahana to their list, in addition to former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot.
Kahana is a "red sheet" for the ultra-Orthodox parties due to the reforms he passed in the Ministry of Religious Services during his tenure as minister.
Shas senior officials said in response to his inclusion on the Gantz and Saar list that "there is no joy like allowing doubts."
Now our entire camp knew, even those who doubted and squinted at Gantz, that they could not be our partners.
The way is clear, we need the right-wing bloc to bring 61 and form the next government.
Those who squinted at Gantz and Saar, this morning see the true face of both of them."
"We will make sure that he will not be able to advance his shared vision with Gantz for the establishment of a Palestinian state."

At the same time, the chairman of the Zionist spirit Ayelet Shaked criticized Kahana, a partner of the Yamina party, for the step.
There is no doubt that the state left camp is good news for all left voters.
We will make sure that in any government that is formed, they will not be able to advance their shared vision with Gantz to establish a Palestinian state.
Things have become clearer and the people of the state right have one house - the Zionist spirit."
This morning former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot announced that he will run in the upcoming Knesset elections together with ministers Benny Gantz and Gideon Sa'ar under the list of the "state camp".
In the announcement he made it was stated that Defense Minister and Chairman of Blue and White Gantz will lead the list, in second place will be placed the Minister of Justice and chairman of New Hope Sa'ar, and in third place Eisenkot - who also added Kahana to the list in ninth place.
Apart from the place reserved for him and Kahana, in the second ten, which is not realistic according to the current polls, Eisenkot will be able to place two candidates in the 16th and 19th places.
A possible candidate for placement is the social activist and former executive director of the "Achray" movement Inbar Giti.
