A woman was raped in Paris (4th arrondissement) by a VTC driver,

learned from a source familiar with the matter.
The facts took place shortly before 5 a.m. at the corner of rue Simon-le-franc and rue du Temple, in the Marais district.
The passenger, who had just called on the VTC driver to return home, was forced to perform fellatio and masturbation on him.
The report of the suspect has been transmitted to the police crews present in the area.
The man was quickly arrested, around 5:30 a.m., by emergency police and anti-crime brigade (BAC).
The victim formally recognized his attacker.

Last Thursday, a 25-year-old woman was raped in a dead end street in the capital's 12th arrondissement.
According to a study by the National Observatory of Delinquency and Criminal Responses (ONDRP) published in 2016, 12% of rapes committed in Paris take place in the street (compared to 57% in residential areas) and 73% occur the night.
