Shaked refused to commit to Kahana that she would not be part of a narrow government headed by Netanyahu
According to political sources, the possibility came up in the talks that Shaked had with Matan Kahana, when they looked at the possibility of his remaining in the party.
Another scenario that Kahnah proposed is that if a unity government is formed with Netanyahu, the latter will serve as the second prime minister in rotation, but Shaked objected.

The chairman of the Zionist Spirit, Minister Ayelet Shaked, refused to commit that she would not supplement Netanyahu with 61 mandates, if required after the upcoming elections, in order to establish a narrow government under his leadership - this is what Walla learned. According to political sources, Shaked held talks with a member of her party, Lt. Minister Matan Kahane, in an attempt to examine the possibility of him remaining in the party, and as part of that, the two discussed political scenarios, and when Shaked was asked, among other things, if she was willing to commit that she would not be part of a narrow government headed by Netanyahu, she refused.
Another scenario that Kahane proposed is that if a unity government is formed together with Netanyahu, the latter will serve a second term in the rotation for the prime ministership, but Shaked opposed this as well. Because of this and due to differences between the two, Kahane finally decided to move to the "state camp", the party of Benny Gantz, Gadi Eisenkot and Gideon Sa'ar, which announced Eisenkot's accession this morning. Today, Kahana received a document from Shaked in which she signed permission to split from the right,And so he will not have to resign from the Knesset but will still be able to run in another party in the upcoming elections.
The "Zionist Spirit" party responded: "In recent weeks, Shaked and Kahana have talked a lot, the talks between the two will remain in the closed room. As for the rotation, the Zionist Spirit is very consistent and commits to a unity government only and not to a narrow government. We do not intend to guarantee the voter from now on who will be first and who will be second In rotation, we leave this to the negotiations between the two parties the day after the elections.
Shaked wishes Kahana good luck in his new path."

Shaked has so far avoided publicly saying that she will be part of a narrow government headed by Netanyahu, although her political opponents have repeated this repeatedly.
She emphasized that the Zionist spirit, in which Yoaz Handel and Zvi Hauser are also members, supports the establishment of a broad unity government.
Today after Kahana's transition, she said that the new party of Gantz, Sa'ar and Eisenkot is "good news for all left-wing voters".
Shaked also said that her party will make sure that in any government that is formed "they will not be able to promote their shared vision with Gantz for the establishment of a Palestinian state".
At the end of last week, the office of the alternate prime minister and the previous chairman of Yamina, Naftali Bennett, published a statement that the transfer of the party to Minister Shaked was completed and "thereby the relationship between Bennett and the party ended and all powers were transferred to Ayelet Shaked." In the message, Bennett wished Shaked "success in the future The message means that if Shaked submits the list of the new party in preparation for the upcoming elections, Levant will have nothing to do with debts from the past that are now estimated at 7 million shekels, as well as debts that will accumulate further down the road in the upcoming elections. In addition, from a legal point of view, Levant will have nothing to do with the party .
