Jessica Andrade da Silva, a Brazilian network influencer who regularly uploaded photos of herself on luxurious yachts and airplanes and in a host of glittering locations around the world - was arrested on suspicion of leading the violent gang of her husband who was incarcerated in a secure prison.
Jessica's husband, Vicente Peru, was one of the big bosses of the Carioca gang that operated in Sierra in northeastern Brazil.
He was arrested in the state of Goias in 2016 and later transferred to a federal prison where he was held under heavy security.
Now it turns out that his place at the head of the crime organization was taken by his 28-year-old wife Jessica, who at the same time started flaunting her luxurious lifestyle on social networks, according to reports in Brazil.
According to sources in the Brazilian government, Jessica often worked according to direct instructions she received from her husband or was a direct participant in the distribution of orders together with her partner Vicente Peru in certain situations "or cooperated in some way to make them happen".. On 22.6 she was also arrested in Salvador and last month she asked to be placed under house arrest - because she has two children under the age of 12.
