Today, Tunisian security forces arrested a terrorist in Mahdia, in the south of the country.
The Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk quoted a security source as saying in a statement today, "A force from the National Guard in El-Jem city in the wilaya was able to arrest a 22-year-old woman for belonging to a terrorist cell," noting that investigations showed that the arrested's husband was a terrorist who recently returned from Hotspots.
The source indicated that the terrorist will be referred to the competent judiciary after investigations are completed.
The Tunisian forces have been conducting campaigns for several years to track down terrorist groups affiliated with the terrorist organizations Al-Qaeda and (ISIS).
