【Meet the Green Smart City! Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival "5G and Green Technology Living Pavilion"]

From August 19th to 22nd, the "5G and Green Technology Living Pavilion" organized by the Hong Kong Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling Association (HKWRA) at the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival 2022 can help you learn more!


5G pilot school plans, local green tech companies showcase new technologies

This innovation exhibition is part of the 5G Pilot School Project co-organized by the Modern Education Research Institute, the Hong Kong Association for Learning Activities and China Mobile Hong Kong, to showcase the 5G live broadcast class of smart campuses. The content will include 4 major themes to introduce how teachers and students can use 5G solutions for distance teaching and learning; 4 other local green technology companies, including Albacastor Technology Limited (Albacastor Technology Limited), which won the 2021 Hong Kong Retail Innovation Technology Award and reduced carbon emissions through UVent®️ purification technology, Apicem Technology Services Company, which uses fully automatic smart IoT sensors to monitor air quality and eliminate germs, JoCar (early rental car), which uses IoT monitoring technology to provide a platform for safe driving systems, and 3 Hong Kong, which promotes office digitalization and is equipped with 5G MESH Wi-Fi, And ProphetStor, which automates, optimizes performance and operating costs with AI and hybrid cloud, each showcases its eco-friendly and innovative technology products and services.

In addition, the association will provide a 4-day sharing session on the exclusive podium of "5G and Green Technology" this year, hoping that the public will have more understanding of environmental protection and green technology.

The opening ceremony and award ceremony of the "5G and Green Technology Living Pavilion" will be held at the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival at 12:30 pm on August 19. Guests from different sectors will be invited to kick off the exhibition, including the Hong Kong Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling Association Chairman Mr. Sham Ka-lun, government officials of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, including Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Dr. Chen Baili, JP, and Legislative Council Member Mr. Luk Chung-hung, JP, witnessed the development of cross-sectoral green technology.

In the exhibition, you can learn about the UVent®️ purification technology developed by Aberron Technology Co., Ltd. to reduce carbon emissions.

You can also see the research and development of Apicem Technology Services Company - an intelligent air purification system that monitors air quality and eliminates germs with fully automatic smart IoT sensors.
