Four Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails continue their open hunger strike to protest against its continued crimes against the prisoners.
Wafa news agency quoted the Palestinian Prisoner Club as saying that the four prisoners are suffering from critical health conditions, as the prisoner Khalil Awawdeh, 40, from the town of Idna, west of Hebron, continues to fight the empty intestines battle and his second strike for the 45th consecutive day, while the prisoner Youssef Al-Baz, 64, from the city of Hebron. Lydda in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 went on hunger strike for the fifth day.
The club indicated that the two brothers, Ahmed Hussein Musa, 44, and Adal Hussein Musa, 34, from the town of Al-Khader in Bethlehem, have continued their hunger strike for nine days since their arrest on August 7, 2022, as the latter suffers from severe heart problems.
It is noteworthy that Awawda announced his first hunger strike on the third of last March and suspended it after 111 days on the twenty-first of June, but the breach by the occupation authorities of their pledges to release him prompted him to resume his strike on the second of last July.
