A Syrian mental arithmetic team from the city of Qamishli achieved advanced positions in the European Mental Arithmetic Competition 2022, which was held in Germany via the Internet, in which 400 male and female students from 200 countries around the world participated.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Rawda Al-Muktaf said that the Syrian team achieved first, second and fourth place in multiplication and third place in division, noting that the competition is conducted on four sports levels: multiplication, division, subtraction and addition, and in each level the competition is conducted on ten levels.
She added, "The Syrian team was distinguished by its quick-wittedness during the competition in the competition, which is held every year and in which a large number of children participate."
